Happy Halloween from Protect Our Preserve!

Protect Our Preserve Volunteers have been busy!
On Friday, October 21st, over 150 POP volunteers and supporters gathered for a Flashlight Parade on Bell Road near the Gateway Trailhead. Please enjoy some of the video footage!

Betty Janik spoke at this event energizing supporters and called for continued educational efforts.  Our message remains the same: remove the DDC concept from the Preserve!

Thanks to POP Volunteer, James Dublinski, for photographing the event!

POP Volunteers have distributed over 1500 flyers at Preserve trailheads in the past month!

Please donate your time in coming weeks to this effort! Click on this link to sign up for a time that works for your schedule.

As the weather cools down, more people are hiking, and we have an opportunity to spread the word to many who do not yet know about the proposed Desert Discovery Center at the Gateway Trailhead.
