Quartz Trailhead. Quartz Trail to QT5 and back to Trailhead.
I took a quick hike up Quartz Trail to complete the last small segment of this trail after returning from San Diego with my family. I had lovely conversations with my mother and my brother over the phone and watched the sun set just as I arrived back at the Trailhead (which is not technically part of the Preserve).
I believe I have figured that I have 8 days of hiking remaining. I would like for the Gateway Loop and Horseshoe Trail to be the final Loop. You are invited to join me if only for a few steps or for a knuckle bump at the Trailhead. Details to follow.
